Location
The Aris is in the upper part of the terraced village, in a side lane among some other modern buildings.
The lane is aside the main road of  Anoghia and by that even more quiet than the village center. The nearest shops and tavernas are 50 meters from here. In the center (200 meters) there is a doctor's office and a pharmacy.
There is also a bus stop. Public busses connect to Iraklion (31 kms) and Rethymnon (49 kms) several times per day.

Iraklion airport is 39 kms away, Hania airport 113 kms. With respect to the winding character of Cretan roads, transfer times from and to the airports must not be underestimated.
