The Aris Hotel
includes 3 double and one triple bedroom and by that is one of the smallest hotels in  Crete.
Actually, "private guest rooms" would be more correct as it covers the upper floor of a private dwelling-house.
The house is in the quarter of new buildings in Anoghia and enjoys unique views of the surrounding mountains and valleys, and with clear weather even until the bay of Iraklion.

Anoghia
is one of the island's highest mountain villages, and having more than 2,500 inhabitants it is also the biggest. It has it's own high school, a town hall, and a Medical Center.

Being a center of sheep and goat breeding, the village is well known for it's beautiful woven goods and crochet works since long.
In recent years it gained additional popularity from Alkibiades Skoulas' private folklore museum.
The place has numerous cozy tavernas and kafenions, and makes an ideal basis for excursions of the peaceful surroundings and the imposing mountain landscape of the Ida massif.
